Senior AI Infrastructure Architect

Salary: $175,000 - 245,000 per year Requirements:

• We bring 6+ years of experience building and running production cloud or platform infrastructure, with practical exposure to AWS, infrastructure as code, automation, or production support.
• We have strong hands-on expertise in infrastructure as code.
• We are experienced in cloud networking, IAM, secrets management, logging, monitoring, deployment automation, and operational support.
• We possess strong software engineering or scripting skills for automation and platform tooling.
• We can use AI tools effectively as accelerators for infrastructure automation, code generation, debugging, testing, or documentation.
• We understand APIs, event-driven architectures, service integration, and secure deployment patterns.
• We are comfortable operating in ambiguous environments and translating platform needs into working systems.
• Preferred: we have experience with Amazon Bedrock or similar managed AI/model platforms.
• Preferred: we have experience with token or cost telemetry, usage attribution, chargeback, showback, or FinOps data pipelines.
• Preferred: we have worked with Temporal or similar workflow orchestration platforms for durable automation, agent workflows, or operational processes.
• Preferred: we have experience with containerized or sandboxed execution environments.
• Preferred: we have experience with agent tools, MCP, model gateways, API gateways, or secure service broker patterns.
• Preferred: we have supported regulated, client-confidential, PHI, PII, or other sensitive workloads.

• We design, build, integrate, and operate production platform capabilities that support governed AI usage.
• We create and maintain approved model-access patterns, including Amazon Bedrock where relevant.
• We develop infrastructure as code, deployment automation, CI/CD templates, and reusable platform building blocks.
• We implement telemetry and reporting for usage, tokens, attribution, quotas, and cost management data flows.
• We deploy and manage approved sandbox environments for coding agents and tool-using agents.
• We build governed mediation patterns for AI tools and services, including MCP or equivalent approaches where appropriate.
• We set up logging, monitoring, alerting, audit evidence capture, and operational reporting for onboarded workloads.
• We produce onboarding templates and reference implementations that teams across the organization can reuse.
• We use AI tools directly to speed up infrastructure coding, automation, debugging, test development, documentation, and runbook creation.
• We help define runbooks, support structures, incident response paths, and operational handoffs.
