Certified Maintenance Technician
Pay: $22/hr. | Schedule: Monday, Wednesday, Friday, 7:30 AM–4:30 PM; Tuesday/Thursday 8:00 AM-5:00PM Start Date: ASAP | Contract‑to‑Hire Opportunity
BG Staffing is seeking a skilled and dependable Floating Certified Maintenance Technician to support an apartment community in Malvern, PA 19355 . This role is ideal for someone with strong technical expertise who takes pride in delivering high‑quality maintenance work and excellent service to residents.
Position Details- Role: Floating Certified Maintenance Technician
- Location: Malvern, PA 19355 and Philadelphia, PA 19106
- Pay: $22/hr.
- Schedule: Monday, Wednesday, Friday, 7:30AM–4:30PM; Tuesday/Thursday, 8AM-5PM
- Start Date: ASAP
- Opportunity Type: Contract‑to‑Hire
- Complete work orders efficiently and professionally
- Perform skilled maintenance tasks, including:
- HVAC troubleshooting and repair (EPA certification required)
- Electrical repairs
- Plumbing repairs
- Appliance diagnostics and repair
- Carpentry and general maintenance
- Assist with unit turns and make‑ready preparation
- Maintain community grounds, common areas, and amenities
- Respond to resident requests with a friendly, professional attitude
- Ensure all work meets safety, compliance, and quality standards
- EPA or HVAC certification required
- CPO Certified preferred
- Previous apartment maintenance experience strongly preferred
- Strong knowledge of general and advanced maintenance functions
- Ability to troubleshoot and complete repairs independently
- Reliable, punctual, and detail‑oriented
- Strong communication and customer service skills
