Scholarship This is a full-time position available from Monday to Friday, scheduled is from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM. The hourly pay rate is $14.50 - $15.50, based on experience and qualifications. This position is situated at our center located 1108 Peachtree Street, Cocoa FL 32922. The Infant Teacher develops a nurturing, responsive, and engaging classroom environment for infants ages 6 weeks to 12 months. This role coordinates age-appropriate curriculum and manages the day-to-day operations of the classroom while supporting each child\'s early developmental milestones through individualized, relationship-based care. The Infant Teacher should be patient, attentive, and able to work collaboratively with staff, families, and children. In this role, you will serve as a positive role model and team player, foster meaningful relationships with infants and their families, create safe and enriching learning experiences, and make a lasting impact during a child\'s earliest stages of development. What You’ll Do: Coordinate and implement educational curriculum by developing classroom activities based on developmentally appropriate practices and early learning standards Lead by example and encourage teaching team success through modeling and coaching Plan individual and group age-appropriate activities to engage children and encourage social, cognitive, and emotional growth Follow all Britt Children’s Academy policies and state regulations Maintain a personal professional development plan to ensure continuous quality improvementwhile collaborating with other educators Implement sensory-rich, age-appropriate lesson plans and track children’s progress and report to parents Encourage children to develop a community-spirited classroom through sharing, caring, language skills and self-regulation and independent feeding and self-help skills A well-balanced schedule of activities including learning, playing, diapering / potty training, eating, and napping Maintain a clean and tidy classroom consistent with health and safety standards What We Need from You: High School Diploma and/or degree in Early Childhood Education or related field of study preferred FL DCF 45 hours required FL DCF Transcript – Please send transcript to View email address on click.appcast.io.
