Position Summary:
We’re seeking an energetic, creative, and organized Activity Director to plan and oversee a vibrant calendar of recreational, social, and therapeutic programs for our residents. This is an exciting opportunity to bring joy, purpose, and community to the people we serve every day.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement engaging activity programs tailored to residents’ needs and interests

• Coordinate group and individual activities such as arts & crafts, music, games, exercise, outings, and celebrations

• Work collaboratively with nursing and therapy departments to promote resident wellness

• Maintain accurate participation records and comply with state and federal regulations

• Supervise and support activity staff and volunteers

• Foster a positive, inclusive atmosphere throughout the facility

Qualifications for Activity Director:

• Previous experience in an activities, recreation, or therapeutic recreation role (preferably in a healthcare or senior living setting)

• Strong leadership, organization, and communication skills

• Compassionate, patient, and enthusiastic personality

• Knowledge of state regulations related to activity programs in long-term care

• Certification as an Activity Director (ADC) or willingness to obtain is preferred
