Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Night Shift | 3x12-Hour Shifts (19:00–07:00) | Every Other Weekend Coverage

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to laboring and postpartum patients on a 15-bed Labor and Delivery unit following inpatient rooming-in practices
• Care for patient age groups including neonates and adults
• Support mother-infant couplet care with all infants roomed with mothers; utilize newborn nursery as needed for infants requiring additional care
• Administer and manage medications using the Omnicell medication system
• Communicate effectively using SBAR communication standards

Required Qualifications

• Active Massachusetts Registered Nurse (RN) license — must be in hand at time of submission
• Minimum 2 years of Labor and Delivery nursing experience
• BLS certification required
• ACLS certification required
• AWHONN Beginner certification required
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• AWHONN Intermediate or Advanced certification preferred
• Experience with Cerner electronic health record system preferred
