Sanitation Associate

Maintenance RepresentativeAs a Maintenance Representative, you'll maintain cleanliness and safety for an entire Store, inside and out, all while making our customers feel welcome. Key responsibilities include sanitation, maintenance, and customer service. You will maintain store cleanliness and safety with a sense of urgency and prioritization. Clean and pick up trash and debris from flower beds and yard around the Store. Use H-E-B chemical program; correctly organize and maintain stock in the maintenance room. Wash windows and mirrors throughout the Store. Empty and clean trash receptacles throughout the shift. Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation standards/SOPs. Communicate maintenance needs, problems, or solutions to Store Leaders. Perform minor maintenance repairs using simple hand tools. Maintain ceiling air vents; replace light bulbs. Work with and around customers; attend to their needs. Assist customers in the location of product. Perform Customer Service Assistant (CSA) duties, when needed.Qualifications and key requirements include being 18+ years old, having knowledge of OSHA guidelines, customer service skills, and sack skills. Ability to take initiative and prioritize competing tasks is also required. Completion of Company Orientation, Basics of Safety training, and In-store orientation is necessary.Physical demands include constantly walking, reaching at waist, and grasping. Frequently push/pull with arms. Occasionally stand, reach overhead, reach at shoulder, reach at knee, reach at floor, bend, stoop, squat, crouch, kneel, crawl, climb stairs, climb ladders, pivot, twist, pinch, and perform fine motor movements. Occasionally be exposed to cold, ambient temperatures, loud noise, and wet conditions. Demonstrate the ability to lift 50 lbs, and manage in excess of 50 lbs.
