Diesel Mechanic

Starting pay for this position is $19.75. Work hours can vary, but is typically from 4 am to 2 pm. Inspect, diagnose and repair diesel-powered vehicles and equipment (primarily forklifts). Perform regular, routine check-ups and preventive maintenance on diesel powered tractors, live haul trailers and feed haul trailers. Troubleshoot faults, repairing or replacing defective/damaged components. Inspect and diagnose trailer malfunctions. All other relevant duties to the position. Requirements Driver's License with a clean Motor Vehicle Record required. Physical Requirements Travel regularly to assigned farms. Frequently lift 50+ lbs. Walk in an outside environment (including inclement weather conditions) on a daily basis. Constantly subject to dusty and hot environments. Frequently exposed to fumes and airborne particles. Occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts.
