Logistics Manager

A leading global industrial technology business is seeking an experienced Logistics Manager to lead end-to-end logistics operations, drive continuous improvement, and ensure the efficient movement of materials across domestic and international supply chains. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on logistics leader with expertise in shipping, warehouse operations, inventory management, hazardous materials compliance, and cross-functional collaboration. Key Responsibilities Lead daily logistics operations, including shipping, receiving, packing, carrier coordination, shipment prioritization, and documentation. Partner with Customer Service to coordinate shipment schedules, customer requirements, order priorities, and proactive communication regarding shipment status. Oversee domestic and international hazardous materials shipments, ensuring compliance with DOT, IATA, and other applicable regulations. Utilize SAP and logistics data to improve shipment visibility, inventory accuracy, warehouse efficiency, and material flow. Identify process improvement opportunities to reduce shipping errors, inventory discrepancies, delays, rework, and transportation costs. Drive warehouse organization, inventory control, cycle counting, and efficient storage practices. Lead, mentor, and develop the logistics team through coaching, performance management, training, and the promotion of a safe, organized, and high-performing work environment. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support production schedules and ensure on-time customer deliveries. Requirements 5+ years of experience in logistics, shipping, receiving, warehouse operations, or supply chain management. Previous leadership or supervisory experience within a logistics or warehouse environment. Strong knowledge of domestic and international shipping regulations, including hazardous materials documentation, packaging, labeling, and compliance. Working knowledge of DOT and IATA shipping requirements. Experience using SAP ERP and Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and OneDrive. Solid understanding of warehouse operations, inventory management, cycle counting, and material flow. Strong problem-solving, communication, organizational, and stakeholder management skills. Proven ability to lead teams, prioritize workloads, and maintain operational excellence in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
