Registered Nurse - Emergency Room

Job Summary:

Seeking an experienced Emergency Room RN to provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment. The position requires strong clinical skills, adherence to safety protocols, and effective interdisciplinary collaboration.

Responsibilities:

• Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments following approved techniques and legal guidelines.
• Document patient care activities accurately and in accordance with standards of care.
• Develop and execute individualized care plans based on physician orders and patient needs.
• Participate in department performance improvement initiatives and shared governance activities.
• Support patient safety and quality of care by escalating concerns through proper channels.
  Qualifications:
  
• Active Illinois RN license required.
• Possess BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS certifications; TNCC or TNS preferred.
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program with education verification.
• Previous ER experience demonstrating proficiency in trauma and emergency protocols.
• Strong critical thinking, assessment, and communication skills.
