Step into a production floor in Chicopee where your hands-on skills keep automated lines and stamping presses running smoothly. At Reliable Temps Inc., you’ll set up equipment, monitor operations, and verify parts against tight tolerances—all while learning from seasoned pros.

A day in the role

On a typical 2nd or 3rd shift, you’ll review job specs, complete a safe start-up, and run either an automated assembly cell or a metal stamping press with progressive dies. You’ll take precision measurements, perform in-process inspections, and package finished components. When something drifts out of spec, your mechanical troubleshooting instincts kick in to adjust, repair, or escalate.

Where and when

• Location: Chicopee
• Schedules: 12-hour day opportunities, plus 2nd and 3rd shift openings
• Training: First 90 days on 1st shift, 6:00am–2:30pm
• 2nd shift: 2:00pm–10:30pm
• 3rd shift: 10:00pm–6:30am
• Pay: $24–$25 per hour

• Auto Assembly Machine Operators — 2nd shift
• Press Operators — 3rd shift

What you’ll work with

• Machine operation and set-up with a focus on repeatability and safety
• Mechanical repair and quick-change adjustments
• Precision measurements and tolerance checks
• Assembly, packaging, and visual/measurement-based inspections

What helps you succeed

• Prior manufacturing or machine-industry experience (preferred)
• Mechanical troubleshooting strengths
• Background in metal stamping and forming using progressive dies

Compliance

Must take a math/mechanical test prior and be able to pass a drug test/alcohol swab and background check.
