Job Description
We are seeking a Structural Designer to support the design of advanced industrial and semiconductor facilities. You’ll develop 2D/3D structural models and construction-ready documentation while coordinating with engineers and other disciplines.
\n \nLocation: Tempe, AZ – Hybrid (2 days/week onsite)
\nSchedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
\nPay: $40–$43/hour ($80k annually DOE) + benefits
\nEquipment: Laptop provided for hybrid work
\n \nKey Responsibilities
\n- \n
- Develop detailed 3D structural models and complete structural plans/details. \n
- Translate engineering concepts into accurate, construction-ready documentation. \n
- Coordinate designs with engineering and other disciplines. \n
- Review models and drawings for accuracy, quality, and compliance. \n
- Lead small design packages, assign tasks, monitor progress, and support team members. \n
- Participate in design reviews, coordination meetings, and problem-solving. \n
- Embrace design automation and emerging technologies. \n
Qualifications
\n- \n
- Associate degree in CAD/Drafting or equivalent experience. \n
- 5+ years of structural drafting/design experience. \n
- 3+ years of Revit experience. \n
- Strong communication and leadership skills. \n
Hybrid Requirement: Candidates must be able to work onsite in the Phoenix office at least 2 days per week and have reliable internet for remote work.
