The largest share of this role is our seasonal multi-mailers - designing and producing it from concept through print-ready file, on schedule and on brand. The rest of the role covers digital banners for our site and paid campaigns, trade show signage, magazine ads, and direct mail. This is a hands-on production role, not a people-management role: success means dependable, on-brand execution across a steady, varied workload, working closely with the Marketing Operations Lead and the broader marketing team. The ideal candidate is fast and organized in Canva, comfortable with the basics of print and video production (bleeds, color, file specs), and able to juggle several concurrent deadlines without dropping quality. Principal Duties and Responsibilities Multi-Mail Design & Production (50%) Design and produce the Groomer's Choice season direct mail from layout through print-ready files, working from the content and marketing calendar. Formats include mailers, mini-catalogs and inserts. Coordinate proofing and approvals with the Marketing Operations Lead, broader marketing team, and print vendor Prepare and hand off print-ready files (crops, bleeds, color) to the print vendor and troubleshoot production issues as they arise Asset Creation (15%) Execute studio photo and video shoots as needed. End product will be used in web and social media Edit user- created video as needed Photography editing and post production for package, website, print and trade show use. Digital Banners (15%) Design digital banners for the website, email, and paid social/display campaigns Resize and adapt creative across the specs of multiple ad platforms and placements Maintain brand and visual consistency across all digital creative Trade Show Signage (10%) Design booth signage, banners, and collateral for approximately 10-12 trade shows annually Coordinate large-format print specs and timelines with vendors and the events team Design print ads for magazine placements per the media calendar Ensure ads meet each publication's specs for dimensions, bleed, color, and file format Required Qualifications 3-5 years of graphic design experience, ideally including catalog, print, or retail design Strong proficiency in Canva A portfolio demonstrating catalog/print layout work alongside digital creative (banners, social, or similar) Working knowledge of print production basics: bleeds, CMYK color, resolution, and file prep for vendors Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage several concurrent projects and deadlines Excellent attention to detail and consistency with brand guidelines Preferred Qualifications Experience with Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop) Experience designing large-format or trade show signage Experience in pet, home goods, or specialty retail Experience with product and lifestyle photography and videography BA/BS in Graphic Design or a related field Benefits (Full-Time) 401(k) with company match Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance Employer-Paid Life Insurance and AD&D Hospital Indemnity Plan Critical Illness Coverage Voluntary Life & AD&D Short-Term Disability TELUS Health / LifeWorks Employee Assistance Program Employee Discount Program Paid Time Off (PTO) Paid Holidays This position is full-time, hourly/non-exempt, Monday - Friday and is on site in Sioux Falls, South Dakota.
