Chef Position (Spring/Summer) The Den in downtown Houghton is looking for the right person to fill a Chef position. The pay will be determined on skill level and previous experience, $15–18/hr plus discounts. We will train the right person if they have no previous cooking experience. We are looking for the right fit for our team. Responsibilities Food prep in mornings (10am–12pm) – no early mornings. Cleaning. Expediting tickets on busy nights. Working with shift leads & managers to accomplish goals and tasks for each week. Shifts on weekends and holidays. Ordering food for the week, recipe management, pricing, and inventory controls. Cooking at a precise level, executing complex orders quickly. Walking up and down stairs. Lifting 25+ lbs. Additional work as requested. Job Perks Flexible hours. Knowledge on new food preparation.
