Key Responsibilities\n

  • Conduct thorough assessments of clients' mental health and substance use challenges, utilizing standardized tools and interview techniques to understand their unique needs.

  • Design and implement individualized treatment plans that align with clients' goals, carefully monitoring progress and making adjustments as necessary.

  • Facilitate weekly counseling sessions, creating a safe and welcoming environment for clients to explore their thoughts and feelings while providing evidence-based therapeutic interventions.

  • Maintain meticulous documentation regarding client progress, treatment updates, and any necessary referrals, ensuring compliance with agency policies and regulations.

  • Participate in regular staff meetings and training sessions to stay informed about best practices, share insights, and collaborate on case management strategies.

  • Support clients experiencing a range of mental health disorders, predominantly within the context of substance use recovery, promoting holistic recovery strategies.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on adult clients who are navigating mental health issues and substance use disorders. You will be working with individuals from diverse backgrounds, addressing disorders such as depression, anxiety, trauma-related conditions, and addiction. Your role is vital in empowering these individuals to pursue recovery, enhance their coping skills, and develop healthier lifestyles.

Qualifications\n

  • A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution, paired with an active LCSW license in the state of Oregon.

  • Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in mental health counseling, particularly in substance use disorder treatment or similar settings.

  • Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to build rapport and trust with diverse clientele.

  • Strong problem-solving abilities, demonstrating a proactive approach to challenges and client needs.

Compensation and Benefits\n
