Treasury Lead | $80-100k, plus bonus (salary commensurate with experience)


Location: Greater Tampa Bay | Hybrid | Local Candidates Only


A well-established, stability-driven organization with a strong operating history is seeking a Treasury Lead to take ownership of high-impact functional areas across treasury and insurance. This is a newly created role, designed by carving out these responsibilities from a broader accounting function to create dedicated focus and accountability. This is a high-visibility position, reporting directly to the Controller and partnering closely with accounting, finance, operations, and human resources. The treasury function supports meaningful transaction volume-processing thousands of disbursements-requiring someone who is analytically strong, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing complexity in a fast-paced environment. In addition to treasury responsibilities, this role will oversee the full lifecycle of corporate insurance programs, including renewals, broker coordination, claims management, and risk support. Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily cash positioning across multiple bank accounts, ensuring adequate liquidity to support both short-term operations and longer-term strategic priorities
• Monitor high-volume cash activity and maintain strong visibility into inflows and outflows across the organization
• Perform and review bank reconciliations within the ERP system; investigate variances and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner
• Administer debt obligations, including tracking balances, interest schedules, and covenant compliance; prepare lender reporting and maintain supporting documentation
• Record and reconcile treasury-related transactions, including cash movements, financing activity, and interest, in coordination with the GL team
• Maintain comprehensive documentation for all corporate insurance policies across property, liability, auto, workers' compensation, cyber, and related coverages
• Serve as the primary point of contact for all claims activity, partnering with internal teams, adjusters, and brokers from initial filing through final resolution
• Support risk management efforts through ongoing claims tracking, reporting, and cross-functional collaboration to reduce exposure and cost
• Lead the annual insurance renewal process, including gathering exposure data, compiling loss runs, and coordinating timely submissions with brokers
• Partner cross-functionally with Accounting, FP&A, Operations, and HR to ensure alignment of treasury and insurance activities with business needs
• Support internal and external audit processes by preparing and organizing required treasury and insurance documentation
• Identify and implement process improvements, automation opportunities, and system enhancements to drive efficiency and scalability

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field
• 3+ years of experience in treasury/cash management required
• Experience within retail, manufacturing, or distribution environments preferred
• Experience managing corporate insurance programs or working with brokers/adjusters a plus
• Prior supervisory or management experience preferred
• Strong ERP system proficiency (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, or similar)
• Advanced Excel skills with the ability to work across large data sets
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
