Night Auditor PositionEmbassy Suites is currently seeking a Night Auditor to join our growing team!The Night Auditor is responsible for ensuring the accurate and efficient completion of all night audit procedures, including balancing and reconciling hotel accounts, preparing guest bills, and providing exceptional customer service to our guests.Compensation & Benefits:401KVisionDentalMedicalEmployer Paid Life InsuranceRoom DiscountsPTOHolidaysFlexible SchedulingReferral Bonus OpportunitiesResponsibilities:Perform all front desk functions during the night shift, including checking in and out guests, answering phone calls, and responding to guest inquiries and requestsBalance and reconcile all hotel accounts, including cash, credit card, and direct bill accounts, ensuring accuracy and completenessPrepare and distribute daily reports, including occupancy, revenue, and audit reportsComplete all tasks related to guest billing, including posting charges, collecting payments, and ensuring the accuracy of guest billsEnsure the safety and security of the hotel and its guests by monitoring and controlling access to the building and responding to any emergencies that may ariseProvide exceptional customer service to all guests, resolving any issues or concerns that may arise during the night shiftCoordinate with the housekeeping and maintenance departments to ensure all guest requests and needs are met during the night shiftAssist with any other duties as assigned by the General Manager or Assistant General ManagerRequirements:High school diploma or equivalent; some college education or hospitality training preferredPrevious experience in a hotel front desk or night audit role is strongly preferredExcellent mathematical and analytical skills, with the ability to accurately reconcile accounts and handle cash transactionsStrong attention to detail and organizational skillsExcellent communication and customer service skillsAbility to work independently and as a part of a teamMust be able to work flexible night shifts, including weekends and holidaysBasic computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and hotel management softwareMust be able to lift up to 25 lbs and stand or walk for extended periodsEEOC Statement: Vesta Hospitality provides equal employment opportunities to all individuals based on job-related qualifications and ability without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, or any other status or characteristic protected by law.
