Salary Range $12.55 - $15.00 Hourly Position Type Part Time with Benefits 20 or More Travel Percentage None Category Housing

Schedule/Hours: Varying Schedule, including weekends and evenings. Part-Time position.

Pay Rate: $12.77-$15.00 per hour

This position is responsible for:

Perform a wide variety of functions to ensure the safety, security and well being of the shelter residents as well as the building.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor client's day to day activities including scheduling and inventorying passes, taking of prescribed medication, and resident's general whereabouts.
• Maintain shelter logbook through documentation, as directed by the Shelter Director.
• Perform administrative tasks such as answering phones, filing, and labeling.

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:

• Work is performed in a lodge/shelter facility where there are little or no physical discomforts associated.
• Ability to meet attendance requirements.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate the English language.
• Ability to lift light objects weighing less than 24 pounds.

Qualifications:

• One year vocational/technical school degree, AND
• Six months experience, OR
• Any equivalent combination of training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
