RN Wound Clinic - TPK

Job Overview Registered Nurse – Wound Clinic (Day Shift). 32 hours per week, Monday‑Friday 07:30‑16:00. OP bonus available. Responsibilities Practice guided by the ANA Standard for Professional Nurse and Code of Ethics. Record patients’ medical history, symptoms; perform diagnostic tests and analyze results. Operate medical equipment, administer treatments and medications, and provide patient follow‑up and rehabilitation. Establish or contribute to patient care plans including medication administration, IV line management, therapies, and interventions. Educate patients and families on illness or injury management, post‑treatment care, diet, nutrition, exercise, and medication self‑administration. Provide direction to licensed practical nurses and nursing aides and delegate tasks appropriately. Support clinical knowledge advancement, precept new hires and students, and assist them in competency skill completion. Collect and analyze health data, develop nursing diagnoses, implement and evaluate patient care plans. Identify expected outcomes, implement evidence‑based interventions, and evaluate patient progress. Document nursing interventions, therapeutic measures, monitoring data, and other relevant observations. Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of nursing practice and ensure compliance with professional standards and regulations. Collaborate with multidisciplinary team, peers, and other health care providers to improve patient care and practice. Apply ethical principles in all aspects of practice and adapt to change using evidence‑based research. Consider safety, effectiveness, and cost in planning and delivering patient care. Education & Certifications Associate’s degree in Nursing or Diploma required; BSN must be completed within 60 months of hire for ADN/Diploma hires or 5+ years RN experience at hire. Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred. Required BLS certification. State of Arizona RN license or compact license. National certification for unit‑specific patient population required upon hire. Experience Minimum 1 year RN experience required; floating positions require at least 1 year. Med‑surg or acute specialty setting >10 months preferred. Licenses & Additional Certifications BLS – Basic Life Support certification. Unit‑specific certification as required by specialty area. Any additional unit‑specific certifications (e.g., DOP) if applicable. Preferred Qualifications Wound care certification. Experience with wound care.
