Travel Nurse Job Details Specialty: Labor & Delivery (L&D) Employment Type: Travel Registered Nurse Setting: 15-bed LDRP unit with triage bays and operating rooms Shift: 12-hour nights Hours: 36 hours per week Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,070-$2,180 Contract Length: 20 weeks Start Date: 09/21/2026 Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend Call Requirement: None Orientation: 24 hours Location: Battle Creek, MI 49017 Registered Nurse Job Requirements Active Michigan RN license required Minimum of 2 years of experience in OB, Mother/Baby, and Labor & Delivery nursing ACLS, BLS, NRP, and AWHONN Intermediate and/or NCC C-EFM required AWHONN Advanced preferred Experience with circulating, fetal monitoring, and triage preferred Ability to work every other weekend and float as needed Comfortable working in a collaborative, high-acuity women’s health and newborn care environment New graduates are not recommended for this role Responsibilities Provide compassionate, patient-centered care for antepartum, laboring, postpartum, and newborn patients Support OR circulating and scrub duties when needed Care for newborns at delivery and assist with couplet care Perform lab draws and newborn hearing screens Respond to triage needs and support patient flow throughout the unit Float to other women’s and newborn care areas as assigned Deliver safe nursing care in alignment with unit standards and best practices Apply now to join this travel Labor & Delivery RN opportunity in Battle Creek, Michigan, and make an impact in women’s health and newborn care.
