Position Summary The Internal Vehicle Fleet Supervisor is responsible for the day-to-day upkeep, repair, cleanliness, and readiness of Marketing and Engineering fleet vehicles. This role combines hands‑on vehicle maintenance and detailing with administrative duties such as scheduling, ticket management, and cross‑team communication. The ideal candidate is self‑driven, highly organized, and comfortable managing competing priorities and deadlines with minimal supervision. Key Responsibilities Perform hands‑on repair, maintenance, and cleaning (interior and exterior) of Marketing and Engineering vehicles. Maintain consistent vehicle cleanliness standards, ensuring all vehicles are presentable and road‑ready at all times. Serve as the primary point of contact for daily communication with Marketing and Engineering teams regarding vehicle status, availability, and needs. Create and manage schedules to meet repair and service deadlines, prioritizing based on business need and urgency. Open, track, and close repair and maintenance tickets in a timely manner, ensuring accurate records of work performed. Coordinate with the warehouse and supply chain teams to identify, request, and track spare parts needed for repairs. Provide a daily passdown/status update to the Manager summarizing completed work, open tickets, and priorities for the next shift. Proactively identify vehicle issues before they escalates, and recommend preventive maintenance where appropriate. Manage own workload and time independently, adjusting schedule as needed within the 8‑hour shift to meet deadlines. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in accordance with facility and safety standards. Required Qualifications Prior experience in vehicle maintenance, detailing, or fleet operations. Strong self‑management skills; able to plan and execute daily tasks with minimal direct oversight. Comfortable balancing hands‑on physical work with administrative tasks (scheduling, ticketing, reporting). Clear, professional verbal and written communication skills for daily interaction with internal teams and management. Basic proficiency with ticketing systems, scheduling tools, or similar software (or ability to learn quickly). Flexibility to adjust shift priorities and hours as needed to meet deadlines. Valid driver’s license and ability to safely operate and move a variety of vehicles. Preferred Qualifications Experience working with warehouse/supply chain teams to source parts or materials. Background in automotive detailing or light mechanical repair. Work Environment & Physical Requirements Primarily performed in a shop, garage, or outdoor lot environment; exposure to weather, noise, and vehicle fluids/chemicals is expected. Requires standing, bending, lifting (up to 25–50 lbs), and repetitive motion associated with vehicle cleaning and repair. Requires the ability to drive and maneuver vehicles of varying sizes on-site.
