Client Relationship Specialist (Banking) Job Title: Client Relationship Specialist Employment Type: Full-time Location: Los Angeles, CA (On-site) Position Summary Our client, a Japanese leading financial institution is seeking an experienced Client Relationship Specialist to support corporate banking clients by managing financial transactions, maintaining client records, and ensuring a seamless client experience. This role serves as a key liaison between clients and internal teams while ensuring compliance with banking regulations and internal policies. Key Responsibilities Support corporate banking clients by processing a variety of banking transactions, including: Commercial loans (committed and uncommitted) Foreign exchange (FX) Deposit products booked through the New York Branch Serve as the primary liaison between clients and internal departments to ensure timely and accurate transaction processing. Collect, verify, update, and maintain client documentation, including: Corporate information Authorized signers and users Product access permissions Upload and maintain digital client records within internal systems. Assist with client onboarding and ongoing account maintenance. Ensure compliance with internal policies, banking regulations, and confidentiality requirements. Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients by understanding their business needs and providing exceptional service. Resolve complex client issues in a timely and professional manner. Collaborate with management to support client relationship strategies and departmental initiatives. Provide backup support to team members and contribute to cross-training and knowledge sharing. Qualifications Bachelor's degree preferred. Minimum 5 years of experience in client relationship management within a bank or financial institution. Strong knowledge of: Corporate banking products Commercial lending Deposit products Foreign exchange (FX) Banking regulations and compliance Bilingual English and Japanese Preferred Additional language skills are a plus.
