Dietary SupervisorResponsibilities

• Ensure timely and efficient food production andmeal service to all residents

• Develop food preparation, distribution, andsanitation schedule

• Assist in the recruitment, interviewing, and selectionof dietary personnel

• Adhere to all fire safety, infection control,confidentiality, resident directed care, and resident rights regulations andguidelines

• Ensure staff compliance of dietary procedures,policies, and responsibilities,

• Assign, supervise, and direct food service toall service areas

• Forecast needs of the department and report tonecessary personnel

Dietary Supervisor Requirements

• Degree from accredited college/university orcompletion of the 120-hour course of Dietary Management

• One year of food service supervisory experience

Preferred

• Previous experience in long-term care
