Here on the Apple Store Online team, we are responsible for Apple’s largest store. Our main goal is to deliver a magical, personal digital experience where customers can shop, buy and learn everything Apple, wherever they are. Each customer should feel like they are our only customer and our job is to set the bar for the experience they receive. To run such an extraordinary store, it takes extraordinary people, and we are looking for someone to help us do extraordinary things. Play a pivotal role in crafting and driving the strategic plans for key customer cohorts including Education, Small and Medium-sized Businesses, and Refurbished. You will define key problem statements, identify opportunities, and recommend revenue-driving initiatives based on market analysis and insights. Responsibilities Formulate Retail’s commercial strategy for Education (College Students), SMB, and Refurbished using clear data driven inputs and outstanding ability to create clearly articulated plans. Develop high-impact initiatives and commercial plans to implement the strategy for the Education/SMB/Refurbished businesses, including affordability strategy and formulation of new value propositions Identify customer trends and customer behavior to recommend new commercial programs and campaigns. Acquire Leadership approvals for highly complex and innovative initiatives through influencing senior stakeholders going from high level strategic vision to detailed queries. Create annual commercial plans that align with the overall strategy and align large cross-functional teams. Lead cross-functionally to devise new strategy and go-to-market plans leading the relationship with Marketing, Merchandising, Finance, Product Management, Legal, Operations and Geo teams. Minimum Qualifications 7-10 years of experience with expert knowledge of the Retail industry, Commerce, Consulting, and/or Financial Services. Proven cross-functional leadership experience, Strong track record of driving initiatives from concept to execution. Proven track record in strategy or commercial development functions, successfully developing and leading business initiatives that address clear long-term objectives. Self-starter with strong analytical skills and a demonstrated ability to make data-driven decisions. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent industry experience. Preferred Qualifications A strong leader with sound judgment, capable of building consensus around solutions and possessing exceptional communication skills that resonate at all levels of the organization. Ability to craft compelling presentations that influence leadership effectively through storytelling. Proven track record prioritizing, planning, and successfully executing strategies, programs, and projects. Skilled at positively influencing individuals across all functional areas, building relationships, and serving as a key point of contact and subject matter expert. Ability to thrive in fast-paced, ambiguous environments and operate effectively at both strategic and tactical levels. Pay & Benefits At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $146,800 and $274,500, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple’s discretionary employee stock programs. Apple employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards, and can purchase Apple stock at a discount if voluntarily participating in Apple’s Employee Stock Purchase Plan. You’ll also receive benefits including: Comprehensive medical and dental coverage, retirement benefits, a range of discounted products and free services, and for formal education related to advancing your career at Apple, reimbursement for certain educational expenses — including tuition.
