Information about the Role, Line of Business and Team The role of Claims Support Specialist is a unique opportunity to work with a high‑quality team of leaders and benefit from the security and stability of a large organization while maintaining a nimble and responsive approach to business. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating claims intake, assisting the claims team, maintaining high customer service standards, and ensuring compliance. This role is instrumental in supporting effective claims handling. Strong preference for the candidate to be located in the Phoenix metro area, but open to remote for the right candidate. We are hiring for two positions on this team. What You Will Do For C&F Enter claim submissions into the claims management system Monitor and manage claim and notice inboxes Upload and flag supporting documentation for review by the Claims Examiner team Enter various types of claim notices (50%, trigger, case management) into the claim system Identify complex and/or catastrophic claim notices and escape to leadership as necessary Refer relevant cases to the Cost Containment team Maintain thorough reporting and open communication with Supervisor regarding assigned areas of responsibility Create a working environment where productivity can be sustained and accomplished, and where innovation and personal growth is encouraged and realized Drive and role model the A&H culture, values and C&F core competencies Other duties as assigned What You Will Bring To C&F High school diploma required; Associate degree preferred 3+ years’ office experience required; medical claims experience preferred Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite with an aptitude to learn new programs (DY/ESL Office experience preferred) Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail Commitment to delivering outstanding customer service and satisfaction Effective time management and prioritization Professional accountability Clear written and verbal communication skills What C&F Will Bring To You Competitive compensation package Generous 401K employer match Employee Stock Purchase plan with employer matching Generous Paid Time Off Excellent benefits that go beyond health, dental & vision. The annualized base pay for the advertised position, located in the specified area, ranges from a minimum of $34,800.00 to a maximum of $51,000.00. The actual compensation is determined by various factors, including but not limited to the market pay for the jobs at each level, the responsibilities and skills required for each job, and the employee’s contribution (performance) in that role. To be considered within market range, a salary is at or above the minimum of the range.
