Coverage Needed

• Start Date: ASAP
• End Date: Ongoing
• Schedule: Monday - Friday, 9-hour shift with an hour lunch and 15-hour call shift overnight
  • Weekend call 24 hours
• Open Dates: 6/12(7a)-6/15(7a), 12/11(7a)-12/14(7a)
• Block coverage

Clinical Details

• Practice Setting: Outpatient, Inpatient
• EMR System: Athena and Cerner
• Trauma Level: 2
• Patients Per Shift: Up to 12 for procedures, less inpatient
• Call: Beeper, on call during entire assignment, 2 to 4 phone consults, 20-minute response time required
• Resident or Teaching Supervision Required
• Admissions: None - hospitalists admit
• ERCP is required
• Will not have a scribe for this assignment and will be responsible for all charting and work completion without an assistant joining them throughout the day
• Required to review all of their pathology and complete the line of work by communicating with the nurses the letters they want to send their patients with results and follow up recommendations
• Hospital/procedures + call EGD, colonoscopy, pH studies, manometry, sigmoidoscopy, PEG/PEG-J tube placement
• ERCP/EUS - Preferred
• 4 procedure rooms/Endo Suites
• Olympus Hydrogen breath testing Capsule endoscopy Propofol Cerner, gGastro, Athena
• Well established, highly accomplished Endo Unit team

Requirements

• Board Certification: Required
• Licensed in MI
• Fellowship: Preferred
• Certifications Required: ABLS, ACLS, ATLS, BLS
• Must have full availability of the dates needed and not partial
