About the Position

Job Title: Patient Care Technician Profession: Patient Care Technician Specialty: Patient Care Technician Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 8 hours (22:00 - 06:30) Experience: 1 year of prior experience working with seniors required License: No license is required for this role Certifications: BCLS Must-Have: Reliable transportation Description: Provide assistance in personal care for geriatric participants/residents. Tasks include bathing, dressing, toileting, and grooming with minimal support and supervision. Schedule and coordinate tasks performed by other patient care technicians. Collaborate with clinic staff for effective care delivery. Participate in participant/resident orientation to the facility. Provide input for service/care plans. Expected to maintain a patient ratio of 1:15-25. No call requirements are necessary for this position. Weekend coverage is required every weekend. Familiarity with QuickMAR is preferred but not mandatory. Travelers are encouraged to have reliable transportation. All travelers must have their own transportation. No additional scheduling restrictions are accepted. Daily census includes caring for approximately 70 residents. Daily responsibilities involve assisting with daily living activities and personal care. Perform basic clinical tasks as required. Ensure adherence to hygiene standards and safety protocols. Support a collaborative work environment with interdisciplinary staff. Document patient care and maintain accurate records as needed.
