Job Title: Front Desk Agent

Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and personable Front Desk Agent to join our dynamic team. As the first point of contact for our guests, the successful candidate will play a crucial role in providing an outstanding experience by delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring efficient operations at the front desk.

Key Responsibilities:

- Greet and welcome guests as they arrive at the hotel, creating a positive first impression.
- Handle check-in and check-out procedures efficiently, ensuring a smooth and pleasant experience for guests.
- Manage room reservations and accommodate guest requests in a professional manner.
- Answer phones and direct calls to appropriate departments while providing information and assistance to guests.
- Maintain knowledge of hotel services, amenities, and local attractions to enhance guest experience.
- Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and requests promptly and courteously, escalating issues when necessary.
- Process payments and manage cash and card transactions accurately.
- Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance to ensure guest room readiness.
- Maintain a neat and organized front desk area, ensuring it is well-stocked with necessary supplies.
- Adhere to all security, operational, and cash-handling procedures.

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education in hospitality or related field preferred.
- Previous experience in customer service or hospitality is advantageous.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
- Ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in operating hotel management software and MS Office.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
