Key Responsibilities As a Physical Therapist at Vital Motion, your daily tasks will include: * Conducting thorough evaluations of residents to assess their physical capabilities and formulate appropriate treatment strategies. * Designing and executing individualized treatment plans aimed at enhancing residents' strength, mobility, and overall functional independence. * Administering diverse therapeutic modalities, including therapeutic exercises, manual techniques, and advanced modalities to address specific physical impairments. * Continuously monitoring and documenting residents' progress, adjusting treatment plans based on evidence and feedback to achieve optimal outcomes. * Working closely with an interdisciplinary team, including occupational therapists, nurses, and physicians, to provide holistic and comprehensive care. * Educating residents and their families on home exercise regimens and strategies to promote long-term physical health and wellness. * Ensuring compliance with state and federal guidelines, along with maintaining professional standards and ethical practices. Patient Population / Client Focus Your role will focus primarily on the geriatric population, who often require specialized care to manage the complexities of aging-related conditions. This includes post-operative rehabilitation, chronic illness management, and recovery from physical injuries. Your expertise will greatly enhance their rehabilitation experience and improve their overall quality of life. Qualifications To thrive in this role, candidates must possess the following: * A current license to practice as a Physical Therapist in California. * A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution; preference given to candidates with a Master's or Doctorate in the field. * Demonstrated understanding of physical therapy practices and therapeutic interventions applicable to a skilled nursing environment. * Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team. * A commitment to providing empathetic care while maintaining professionalism in a fast-paced setting. Compensation and Benefits Vital Motion offers a competitive annual salary ranging from $120,000 to $130,000, commensurate with experience.
