Project Manager - Power Conversion and Storage

Role Description

GE Vernova's Power Conversion & Storage business is seeking a motivated Project Manager to support the execution of large-scale solar and battery energy storage projects across the Americas.

• Support the delivery of utility-scale solar and BESS projects, gaining exposure to projects ranging from $10M to $200M in value.
• Assist in managing customer relationships — learning to communicate effectively, resolve issues proactively, and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.
• Contribute to contract management activities including reporting, tracking receivables, monitoring change orders, and supporting claim resolution.
• Track and report on key project metrics including safety, quality, schedule, cost, and cash flow under the guidance of senior project managers.
• Coordinate with internal teams — working cross-functionally with engineering, supply chain, finance, and field services to support product delivery and commissioning.
• Maintain project documentation — keeping records, action logs, risk registers, and status reports accurate and up to date.
• Participate in customer and internal meetings — developing your communication and stakeholder management skills in a professional setting.
• Support a culture of safety and continuous improvement across all project activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (Engineering, Construction Management, Business, or a related field).
• 3–5 years of project management, engineering, or related professional experience (internship or co-op experience counts!).
• Fluent English communication skills — written and verbal.
• Ability to travel up to 20%.

Requirements

• Academic or professional exposure to solar, BESS, or broader energy/power systems.
• Internship or project experience in construction, engineering, or energy sectors.
• Familiarity with project management tools such as MS Project, Primavera P6, or similar.
• Knowledge of Lean or continuous improvement principles.
• PMP certification or active pursuit of PMP credentials.
