Overview

BMW of Shawnee Mission is seeking a driven, customer-focused Sales Consultant to join our high-performing sales team. As a BMW Sales Consultant, you will be responsible for delivering a world-class luxury automotive experience, building lasting customer relationships, and helping clients find the BMW vehicle that best fits their lifestyle and needs. This role is ideal for ambitious professionals who are passionate about sales, customer service, and exceeding performance goals.

 

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers in a professional and welcoming manner throughout the sales process.
• Build rapport with prospective customers and identify their vehicle needs, preferences, and budget.
• Demonstrate BMW vehicle features, technology, performance, and benefits through presentations and test drives.
• Guide customers through the entire vehicle purchase process, including financing options, trade evaluations, and delivery.
• Maintain expert-level knowledge of BMW products, promotions, competitive vehicles, and market trends.
• Follow up with leads generated through the dealership, manufacturer programs, referrals, and online inquiries.
• Utilize CRM tools to track customer interactions and maintain accurate sales records.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships to generate repeat business and referrals.
• Achieve individual sales, gross profit, and customer satisfaction objectives.
• Participate in dealership and manufacturer training programs.
• Deliver an exceptional vehicle delivery experience and ensure customer satisfaction after the sale.
• Maintain a professional appearance and represent the BMW brand with excellence at all times.

 

Qualifications

• Previous sales experience with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding goals.
• Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Ability to build relationships and provide outstanding customer service.
• Self-motivated with a competitive and results-oriented mindset.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Proficiency with computers, CRM systems, and mobile technology.
• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.

Preferred

• Automotive sales experience.
• Luxury retail, hospitality, or luxury automotive experience.
• Familiarity with clienteling and relationship-based sales techniques.
• Knowledge of BMW products and brand standards.
• Experience using VinSolutions, DealerSocket, Elead, or similar CRM platforms.
