• Number of Beds : 6
• Patient Ratios : mainly 2:1 some 1:1 and 3:1
• Unit staffing description- (unit secretaries and tech availability) : 1 Nurse Tech
• Type of equipment : Arctic Sun, Continuous EEG
• Documentation system: Meditech
• Scheduling requirements: 36 hours a week every other weekend
• Floating policy: Floats to ICU overflow unit
• Patient Experience requirements:
Hospital Specifics-
• Certifications: ACLS, PALS, BLS

Must have :
ICU experience

Advanced skills needed: Strong critical thinking skills and communication skills

Procedures performed on unit: Central line placements, Art line placements, Paracentesis, Thoracentesis, intubation,

Certifications Required: ACLS, PALS, BLS

Dress Code : (Required uniform)
• Galaxy Blue or Pewter scrubs
