Automatic Door Technician – San Antonio Area
Automatic Entrance Solutions is looking for an experienced Automatic Door Technician to join our team in the San Antonio area. We are seeking a motivated technician with strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills who has experience working with automatic door systems, access control, hollow metal doors, or related commercial door systems.
Responsibilities
- Install, service, troubleshoot, and repair a variety of automatic door systems including:
- Sliding doors
- Swinging doors
- Folding/Bi-fold doors
- Revolving doors
- Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues efficiently and safely
- Complete job-related paperwork accurately and submit documentation in a timely manner
- Identify opportunities to recommend additional products or services to customers
- Follow all company and jobsite safety procedures
- Perform additional duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Previous experience as an automatic door technician or in a related field preferred
- Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude required
- Experience with access control systems, hollow metal doors, storefront systems, or automatic operators preferred
- AAADM Certification is a plus, not required
- Ability to lift up to 100lbs safely
- Comfortable working at heights and using ladders
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record required
- High School Diploma or GED preferred
