Job Title: Residential HVAC Service Technician

Location: Durham, NC (Serving the Triangle area)

Position Type: Full-Time, Permanent

Compensation & Perks

Hourly Pay: $28.00 – $34.00 / hour (depending on experience)
Top Earners Make Up to $160,000/year (base hourly plus uncapped incentives)
4% Commissions on system sales

Key Responsibilities

Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair residential HVAC systems (ACs, heat pumps, furnaces, and mini-splits).
Present clear, flat-rate pricing and service options to homeowners before starting work.
Educate customers on repair-vs-replace options, SEER2 efficiency, and indoor air quality solutions.
Maintain a professional appearance and a well-stocked company service vehicle.

Qualifications

EPA Certification is required
Proven experience as a Residential HVAC Service Technician
Strong customer service and communication skills
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
NATE Certification is a plus
