Salary Range: $55,000.00 - $64,500.00 USD annually. The Human Resources Partner (HR Partner) serves as the primary HR point of contact for their assigned school sites, providing strategic day‑to‑day support across the full employee life cycle. This role partners closely with the managers of their respective sites to ensure staffing, strong employee relations, and consistent application of HR practices aligned to organizational values and policies. The HR Partners under the supervision of the respective Human Resources Managers of Talent Acquisition and Employee Relations will assist individuals through a variety of transitions aligned with full‑cycle recruitment, onboarding, employee life cycle, offboarding, employee relations, position control, and workforce planning. This incumbent will partake in additional assignments as needed to fulfill the department and organizational needs. QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or related field, required. 4+ years of progressive experience in Human Resources, required. SHRM or HRCI certification, highly preferred. Experience working with HRIS systems. Workday, preferred. Active AZ Department of Public Safety (DPS) IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card. Any equivalent combination of experience, training and/or education from which comparable knowledge, skills and abilities may be considered. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Site Partnership & Support: Serve as the dedicated HR partner to assigned school sites, building strong, trust‑based relationships with assigned sites. Partner with HR team members and cross‑functional teams to ensure a seamless employee experience. Provides excellent customer service to candidates and current employees through every phase of employment. Coordinates closely with Hiring Managers, keeping them abreast of aligned work through every phase. Workforce Planning & Position Control: Maintain accurate information in the HRIS system and aligned documents, at all times. Own position control for assigned sites, ensuring alignment between approved roles, budgets, and active staffing. Partner with school leaders and managers on workforce planning, including forecasting vacancies, enrollment‑driven staffing needs, and organizational changes. Maintain accurate records of staffing allocations, vacancies, and hiring status. Full‑Cycle Recruitment Lead: end‑to‑end recruitment for assigned sites, including: Job postings and sourcing strategies Screening and selection support Interview coordination and guidance Offer development and pre‑boarding processes Partner with hiring managers to ensure a high‑quality, equitable, and efficient hiring process. Monitor and improve time‑to‑fill and candidate experience. Ensure compliance with all hiring policies and requirements. Leverage AI tools as available for various stages in the process. Employee Relations: Serve as the primary point of contact for employee relations matters for manager‑level roles and below. Provide coaching and guidance to managers on performance management, corrective action, and employee concerns. Conduct or support investigations as needed, ensuring fair and consistent outcomes, following the appropriate process. Partner with leadership to address workplace concerns proactively and maintain a positive work environment. Support managers in performance management processes, including goal setting, feedback, and corrective action. Provide guidance on employee development and retention strategies. Identify trends and partner with leadership to address systemic challenges. Compliance & HR Operations: Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws, as well as organizational policies. Maintain accurate and timely employee records and documentation. Supports, maintains, and ensures compliance with various areas of responsibility and organization driven projects. Prepares reports, graphs, charts and statistics to forecast needs, trends and make recommendations based on the data. A variety of projects and/or work responsibilities will be assigned and owned by individual HR Partners at any given time that are respective to the overall HR Operations of the organization. Additional duties may be assigned as necessary. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES Knowledge of current federal and state laws, statutes, regulations, policies, and directives pertaining to hiring guidelines, employment law, benefits, and leaves, with the ability to apply them in a K–12 environment. Skilled in full‑cycle recruitment practices, including sourcing strategies, candidate evaluation, and selection processes that promote equitable and high‑quality hiring outcomes. Knowledge of workforce planning and position control practices, including tracking, forecasting, and aligning staffing to organizational needs and budgets. Ability to learn and effectively utilize an integrated HRIS system to manage employee data, recruitment, and position control. Skilled to recognize and take initiative to improve systems and procedures; implementing those to enhance HR service delivery. Skill in data collection, research, and analysis, with the ability to develop actionable recommendations and alternative solutions. Ability to apply critical thinking and sound judgment to employee relations matters, including performance management, investigations, and conflict resolution. Ability to anticipate, forecast, and develop proactive strategies to achieve staffing and organizational objectives. Strong relationship‑building skills with the ability to work collaboratively with a variety of stakeholders, including school leaders and cross‑functional teams. Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing, including developing clear, professional written materials and presentations. Skill in data collection, research, analysis, and development of recommendations and/or alternative solutions. Being able to prepare reports and working with tools such as Excel and Word to track, analyze, and present HR data. Ability to manage multiple priorities across assigned sites while maintaining strong attention to detail and follow‑through. Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism. Ability to model professionalism, exercise initiative, work collaboratively with a variety of stakeholders in and outside of ASU Preparatory Academy. Being able to represent the Human Resources function with credibility and integrity. Ability to provide excellent customer service while balancing employee advocacy with organizational priorities. LOCATION UCENT- Hybrid TRAVEL: Occasional travel may be required for site visits, meetings, trainings and/or conferences. Locations may vary and may require overnight stays.
