As a Sales Associate , you will be the face of our company—working directly with customers, learning our products and services, and helping deliver an exceptional in‑store experience. We provide training on all products, services, and company policies to set you up for success. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building relationships, thrives in a fast‑paced retail environment, and takes pride in maintaining a professional, welcoming store environment. Sales Associate Compensation Base Salary: $32,000 for the first 12 months of employment + 7% commission OR Straight 14% commission + training pay of $5400.00 over a span of 12 weeks Sales Associate Key Responsibilities Greet customers warmly and provide exceptional customer service Answer customer questions and engage them with merchandise Guide customers to appropriate products and services within the store Build and maintain strong customer relationships Actively seek out and assist customers on the sales floor Maintain strong product knowledge and stay informed on new offerings Contribute to departmental sales goals on a monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis Handle customer concerns professionally and partner with the customer service team to resolve issues Maintain an organized, clean, and visually appealing store floor, including displays and merchandise Sales Associate Qualifications Proven success in sales or customer‑facing roles Professional appearance and demeanor Personable, friendly, and customer‑focused attitude Ability to work in a fast‑paced retail environment Understanding of basic sales principles Ability to stand for extended periods of time Ability to lift 50 lbs. or more Sales Associate Benefits 5 days paid vacation after 90 days Health Insurance Dental Insurance Life Insurance 401(k) with profit sharing Flexible Spending Account (FSA) No Sundays Why Work at Dick Van Dyke Inc. as a Sales Associate?
