BG Staffing is seeking a skilled and dependable Certified Maintenance Technician to support an apartment community in Denton, TX 76201 . This role is ideal for someone with strong technical expertise who takes pride in delivering high-quality maintenance work and excellent service to residents.

Position Details

• Role: Certified Maintenance Technician
• Location: Denton, TX 76201
• Pay: $23/hr
• Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:30 PM
• Start Date: Immediate Opening
• Opportunity Type: Contract or Contract-to-Hire

Responsibilities

• Complete work orders efficiently and professionally
• Perform skilled maintenance tasks, including:
  • HVAC troubleshooting and repair
  • Electrical repairs
  • Plumbing repairs
  • Appliance diagnostics and repair
  • Carpentry and general maintenance
• Assist with unit turns and make-ready preparation
• Maintain community grounds, common areas, and amenities
• Respond to resident service requests with a friendly, professional attitude
• Ensure all work meets safety, compliance, and quality standards

Requirements

• EPA or HVAC Certification Required
• Previous apartment maintenance experience strongly preferred
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, appliances, and general maintenance
• Ability to troubleshoot and complete repairs independently
• Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Must be able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Own tools preferred
