Wait Staff/Server (Part-time)

Hillside in McMinnville, OR, a HumanGood community nationally rated as 2025-2026 Best Senior Living community for Independent Living and Memory Care by U.S News & World Report, is looking for a talented and passionate Server to join our team! Under general supervision, the Server is responsible for the day-to-day setup, clearing, cleaning, and resetting of the dining room. Duties include taking menu orders and serving meals to residents and guests in a timely, courteous, and gracious manner, while consistently providing excellent customer service. Schedule Available: Part-time , to discuss schedule at time of interview. Pay range: $17 per hour, depending on experience Job Duties: Greets residents and guests promptly as they arrive at their table; Records accurate food and beverage orders and input into the POS system; Explains how menu items are prepared, describing ingredients and cooking methods; Informs guests of daily specials, makes recommendations; Carries service tray in correct placement of orders to facilitate service of food and beverages; Works safely, consistently using designated safety equipment (personal protective equipment- PPE); Completes bussing, runner, meal plater, utility and catering duties as needed or assigned; Refills beverages throughout the meal service To be successful in the role, you would have: Prior customer service experience Prior food service, fast food or restaurant experience Food Handler’s or ServSafe certification Prior experience working with seniors preferred Availability that includes evenings, weekends, & holidays High school students are welcome to apply!
