Server Assistant

Busser Job Description:

Position Title: Busser

Reports To: General Manager

Department: Front of House

Job Summary:

The Busser is responsible for ensuring a clean and organized dining area, providing exceptional

guest service, and supporting the FOH team to ensure a seamless dining experience for guests.

The Busser must work efficiently and effectively to keep the dining area running smoothly and

support the servers in delivering high-quality service to guests.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

None

Essential Functions / Major Responsibilities:

• Ensure a clean and organized dining area, including clearing and resetting tables, chairs,
• and place settings.
• Assist servers with the delivery of food and beverages to guests.
• Maintain a high level of cleanliness and sanitation throughout the dining area.
• Assist with opening and closing duties, including the cleaning and maintenance of the
• dining area.
• Communicate effectively with FOH and kitchen staff to ensure a seamless dining
• experience for guests.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

• Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Education and Experience:

High school diploma or equivalent required.

Previous experience as a busser or related position preferred.

Work Environment:

The environment requires the team member to work inside in a temperature-controlled

environment.

Required to work weekends and irregular hours.

Requires working under stressful conditions.

Must be able to work safely in a noisy area.

Physical Requirements:

Must be physically able to stand for long periods, up to 8 hours a day.

Must be able to work on your feet for extended periods.

Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at a time.

Requires maintenance of the dining area, including moving tables and chairs.
