Job Description
This Inpatient Pharmacist position provides comprehensive pharmaceutical care within a hospital setting, ensuring safe, effective, and timely medication therapy for admitted patients. The pharmacist collaborates closely with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary teams to optimize medication regimens, provide patient education, and support positive clinical outcomes. Responsibilities include reviewing medication orders, monitoring therapy effectiveness, ensuring regulatory compliance, and contributing to quality improvement initiatives. The role includes participation in rotating weekend coverage and occasional evening shifts as part of departmental scheduling.

Requirements:
Candidates must hold a Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree from an accredited program. Current Kansas pharmacist licensure or eligibility for licensure is strongly preferred. Prior hospital or inpatient pharmacy experience is preferred. Strong clinical knowledge, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team are essential.
