Opportunity:

Advanced Practice - (CRNA) - Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)

Job Details:

• Weekend shift coverage required every Saturday and Sunday for 8 or 12 hours depending on departmental needs

• Daytime shift option available working 5 days per week, 8 hours per day

• Handle challenging acute cases with a collaborative team of MDAs and CRNAs

• Work with up-to-date equipment and safety measures in place

• Provide anesthesia services for GYN, Ortho, Cysto, General surgery, Hearts, Lungs, Healthy pediatrics, Endoscopy, OB cases, Vascular, and Neuro spine procedures

• Handle 2-5 patient encounters per shift in a 27-bed department

• 30-minute lunch break deducted from time worked daily

• Must be board certified with required certifications including ABLS, ACLS, BLS, and PALS

• General anesthesia experience required for adult, pediatric, and trauma cases

• Experience with obstetrical cases, neurosurgical spine cases, open heart anesthesia, thoracic cases, complex vascular cases, and complex orthopedic cases required

• Must be competent in ventilation management, evaluation and management of acute volume/BP issues, and arterial line placement

• Central line placement experience preferred

• CRNA supervision required
