Required skillset and experience:

• Minimum 5 years of commercial mechanical systems operation, maintenance, and repair experience
• Minimum 3 years of healthcare facility experience
• Strong troubleshooting experience with large, complex mechanical systems and controls
• EPA Universal Refrigeration Certification
• Ability to read blueprints, specifications, BAS control drawings, and operations manuals
• Strong knowledge of maintenance safety practices and procedures
• Effective verbal and written communication skills

Preferred skillset and experience:

• Experience with boiler systems (hot water and steam)
• Chiller maintenance and operations experience
• Controls system experience in large commercial facilities
• Familiarity with plumbing, electrical, and fire protection systems
• Experience supporting government, military, or healthcare facilities
• Florida Boiler Operator License or military journeyman level 5+ documented on DD214

Day-to-Day:

• Operate, maintain, repair, and replace mechanical and electrical equipment including pumps, motors, heat exchangers, fuel systems, and air handling units
• Operate boilers, chillers, cooling towers, cogeneration systems, compressors, and water chemistry systems
• Lead shift personnel and oversee workforce operations safely and efficiently
• Conduct daily facility inspections and equipment tours
• Perform and oversee corrective and preventive maintenance activities
• Respond to customer service requests and emergency situations
• Maintain operating logs, maintenance records, and required documentation
• Manage spare parts, tools, and maintenance inventory accountability
• Coordinate with subcontractors and site personnel during repairs and emergency responses

Insight Global is seeking a Stationary Engineer for a top facilities services and government support client. This candidate will be responsible for operating, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing critical mechanical systems at a major military installation. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with boilers, chillers, HVAC systems, controls, and related building infrastructure within large commercial or healthcare environments. This individual will serve as a shift leader, conduct facility inspections, respond to service requests and emergencies, and ensure all systems operate safely, efficiently, and in compliance with contractual and regulatory requirements. Schedule: Onsite in Eglin, FL (1st, 2nd, or 3rd shift)

Hours: 1st shift - 6am-2:30; 2nd shift 2-10:30pm; OR 3rd shift 10pm-6:30am

Part time openings with shifts Saturday and Sunday

Salary: $32.00-$37.90/ hour.
