Sr Business Consultant: Seeking highly organized, detail-oriented resources to support our quoting team during a high volume period. These individuals will assist with reviewing requests for proposals, ensuring timely and accurate delivery, and collaborating with internal teams to gather necessary data. The ideal candidates will have strong communication skills, a process-oriented mindset, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.



Key Responsibilities:

• Review incoming proposals to ensure all required information is received
• Identify and flag inconsistencies or missing information within quote requests
• Work with the producer or general agent on any missing information or clarifying questions
• Follow processes and procedure job aids and other step by step guide to process RFP accurately and timely
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders (Sales and Account Management and Underwriting) as needed
• Maintain up to date records of quote activity in relevant systems or trackers
• Ensure quotes are delivered within turnaround time targets and escalate delays or issues as needed
• Support documentation and process improvement efforts related to the quoting workflow
• Submit the quote through an internal application to be reviewed by our Underwriting team for pricing and to deliver the quote
• Review current quoting processes and identify/present opportunities to streamline the process for the future
• Participate in team meetings and training sessions as appropriate

Qualifications:

• 1-3 years in quoting, sales, operations, pricing support, or similar administrative roles
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to handle multiple priorities and meet deadlines
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Quick learner with the ability to adapt to changing priorities
• Experience in Health Insurance related field is a plus
• Uses best practices and knowledge of internal or external business issues to improve products or services

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (e.g. Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Visio) for written communication and analysis.
