Job Title: CVOR Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Cardiovascular Operating Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day 4x10-Hour Hours per Shift: 10 Experience: Minimum 1 year License: Alaska RN License preferred, pending license accepted Certifications: BLS, ACLS Must-Have: Previous experience in cardiovascular surgical procedures required. Knowledge of infection control and safety protocols is a must. Willingness to be on-call and work weekends as needed. Description: This position is for a CVOR Registered Nurse in a dynamic surgical environment. The role involves providing care to patients undergoing heart surgeries. You will be responsible for assisting with various procedures such as CABG and valve replacements. Candidates should possess strong critical thinking and decision-making skills. Flexibility to float within the facility or nearby as necessary is required. You will work in collaboration with an interdisciplinary team. A commitment to continuous learning and professional development is essential. Strong adherence to safety protocols and universal procedures is expected. Candidates must be able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. All time-off requests must be included at the time of application.
