About the Role:
As a Dietary Cook at The Waters of Dunkirk, your responsibilities will include:
• Preparing and cooking meals for residents, considering their dietary restrictions and preferences
• Maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to food safety standards
• Collaborating with the dietary team to develop menus and plans that meet the needs of our residents
• Assisting with inventory management, ordering supplies, and reducing waste
• Participating in quality improvement initiatives to enhance the dining experience for our residents
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent required
Prior experience in food service or a related field; formal culinary training or certification preferred
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines
Familiarity with food safety guidelines and regulations
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
