In this role, you will be responsible for constructing, modifying, and finishing telecommunication shelters and related structures. The ideal candidate has experience in residential or commercial projects and is committed to maintaining high standards of safety and workmanship. The role includes travel every four weeks throughout Nevada and surrounding states, providing the opportunity to work in diverse locations and gain valuable experience.Essential Responsibilities:Construct and finish telecommunications equipment shelters and support structuresPerform framing, drywall installation, roofing, insulation, flooring, and interior/exterior finishing workRead and interpret blueprints, construction drawings, and project specificationsHelp maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in accordance with company policies and site requirementsBe willing to assist other team members as neededFollow company safety policies, OSHA regulations, and site-specific requirementsRequirements:Current OSHA 10 certificate or be willing to obtain the certification shortly after hirePrevious experience in residential or commercial carpentryProficiency with carpentry tools, equipment, and construction methodsExperience in concrete finishing is an assetAbility to read and interpret construction drawings and specificationsAbility to lift up to 50 poundsValid driver's licenseMust pass pre-employment drug and alcohol testingWork Conditions:Monday to Friday working from 7 am to 3pm, working 8 hours per day, overtime rates apply after 40 hours worked per weekPotential overtime hours may be required per project needsLiving out allowanceWork in all weather conditionsMust be willing and able to travelHealth and wellness benefits, plus 401(k) matchingLedcor Heavy Civil and Mining services reach across the lifespan of a mine, from facility construction, to full-scale contract mining of coal, minerals, or metals, all the way to mine reclamation.
