Job Description Job Description Job description: Nuclear Medicine Technologist – Full-Time | Costa Mesa, CA Overview: Provide diagnostic imaging services with a focus on brain SPECT scans and related quality assurance procedures. This role requires efficiency, compassion, and the ability to work in a fast‐paced, high‐volume clinic environment with both pediatric and adult patients. Key Responsibilities: Perform brain SPECT scans and process images daily Prepare patients, start IVs, administer doses Conduct daily camera QC, hot lab duties, constancy checks, surveys, and wipe tests Order isotopes and manage inventory Maintain log books and regulatory documentation Perform sealed source leak tests, calibrator linearity, geometry, and accuracy testing Qualifications: Current Nuclear Medicine Technologist license (state applicable) Experience with pediatric and adult patients Strong organizational, communication, and time management skills Compassionate, patient‐focused approach Familiarity with brain imaging and Picker Prism 3000 system preferred Background check and drug screening required Work Environment: Indoor, outpatient clinical setting Moderate noise level, temperature‐controlled environment Frequent patient interaction, computer use, and moderate physical activity Benefits: 401(k) 401(k) matching Dental insurance Employee assistance program Employee discount Flexible schedule Flexible spending account Health insurance Health savings account Life insurance Paid time off Parental leave Professional development assistance Referral program Retirement plan Tuition reimbursement Vision insurance
