- Executing thorough patient assessments, ordering necessary diagnostic tests, and creating tailored care plans
- Diagnosing and managing acute, episodic, or chronic illnesses, both independently and in collaboration with attending physicians
- Providing education to patients and their families on preventive care, wellness, and chronic disease management
- Prescribing medications and therapies in alignment with your scope of practice
- Engaging in patient follow-up and managing chronic care effectively
- Coordinating with interdisciplinary teams to deliver seamless, comprehensive care
- Accurately documenting all patient interactions in electronic medical records (EMR)
- Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
- Graduation from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
- Valid Nurse Practitioner license in Nebraska
- National certification as a Certified Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP or ANCC) or equivalent specialty
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or willingness to obtain within 90 days)
- Exceptional clinical judgment combined with a warm bedside demeanor
- Outstanding communication capabilities with patients, families, and fellow healthcare professionals
- Ability to thrive in fast-paced, patient-focused settings
- Proficiency with EMR systems and familiarity with telehealth tools
