Role Expectations

• Executing thorough patient assessments, ordering necessary diagnostic tests, and creating tailored care plans
• Diagnosing and managing acute, episodic, or chronic illnesses, both independently and in collaboration with attending physicians
• Providing education to patients and their families on preventive care, wellness, and chronic disease management
• Prescribing medications and therapies in alignment with your scope of practice

Qualifications and Requirements

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
• Graduation from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program

Necessary Credentials

• Valid Nurse Practitioner license in Nebraska
