Position Summary:

The Director of Admissions is responsible for overseeing the facility’s admissions process, managing referral relationships, and ensuring a smooth and efficient transition for residents entering the skilled nursing facility. This role focuses on census development, customer service, and coordination with clinical and administrative teams to meet occupancy goals and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and coordinate all aspects of the admissions process, including intake, screening, and acceptance decisions

• Develop and maintain relationships with hospitals, physicians, case managers, and community referral sources

• Review clinical and financial information to determine eligibility for admission

• Collaborate with nursing and interdisciplinary teams to ensure appropriate placement and continuity of care

• Conduct facility tours for prospective residents and families

• Monitor and maintain census levels in alignment with facility goals

• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations related to admissions

• Maintain accurate records and documentation of referrals and admissions activity

• Participate in marketing and outreach initiatives to promote the facility

3 Years skilled nursing experience required
