TRUSS BUILDER- URGENTLY HIRING

Location: Sioux Falls, SD

Pay: $21/hour

Hours: Monday-Friday, 7 am- 5:30 pm

Join our team at a brand-new indoor truss plant, where you will be building floor and wall trusses. This role involves a lot of standing and walking, with shifts lasting up to 10 hours. You will be using basic tools like a tape measure and hammer, making this a physically engaging and occasionally repetitive position.

Responsibilities:

• Build floor and wall trusses using basic hand and power tools.
• Read and interpret tape measures and other measuring devices.
• Stand and walk for extended periods during shifts of up to 10 hours.
• Perform repetitive tasks as part of the truss assembly process.

Essential Skills:

• Experience with power and hand tools.
• Experience in construction or carpentry.
• Ability to read and use a tape measure effectively.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

• Wall framing experience is highly desirable.
• Any previous carpentry or construction experience is required.

Work Environment:

Work in a brand-new truss plant with mandatory shifts from Monday to Thursday, 7 AM to 5:30 PM. Optional hours are available on Fridays and Saturdays for those who wish to work extra. Enjoy a modern facility equipped for efficient truss building, with a dress code suitable for construction work.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Sioux Falls, SD.

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $21.00/hr.
