Member Specialist

Sam's Club #8135 – 4350 S US Highway 41, Terre Haute, IN 47802-4407 Responsibilities Provides member service and maintains the checkout area. Resolves member issues and concerns. Promotes Sam's Club products and services. Provides guidance and support to members regarding self-service technology. Processes member purchases, payments, returns, refunds, and exchanges according to company policies and procedures. Follows company safety standards, procedures, and guidelines, including conducting safety sweeps. Follows proper procedures for handling merchandise and reports unsafe situations. Maintains entrance and exit areas, verifies membership, assists with purchasing decisions, and ensures a safe shopping environment. Assists with securing and safeguarding assets, maintains paperwork and logs, executes emergency response procedures, and ensures compliance with security and safety practices. Assists with training new Member Frontline Services associates on procedures, technology, and new program rollouts. Ensures area of responsibility is maintained according to policies, handles returns, zones the area, and identifies shrink and damages. Collaborates with managers, coworkers, customers, and business partners to prioritize and complete tasks, communicate progress, and recommend improvements. Qualifications Retail experience, including operating front end equipment such as a cash register. Experience working with mobile retail applications. Pay The hourly wage range for this position is $17.00 to $25.00. The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location. Additional Compensation Premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances, based on schedule, facility, season, or work performed; multiple premiums may apply if criteria are met.
